Gaining strength in numbers, Kia teams up with her two best comrades. Gal-pal Stekatta "Kat" Tressner is a stylish shoot-from-the-hip gear-head... with a soft spot. And, Sid X is an adolescent outlaw with an appetite for recreation and the power to control any computer telepathically via the cybernetic crystal implanted in his forehead.

Together, the heroic trio battles against Harden, his sadistic sycophant Axxen Baines and a mysterious floating man-mutant with deadly psychic powers who calls all the shots from the shadows.

Along the way, Kia discovers that her mighty alter-ego holds surprising sway over her personal life. Naturally, she has to break the occasional date for a world-saving adventure. Like Kia says, "It's obligatory superchick behavior." But, she also gains unexpected confidence in her romantic adventures. It would all be rather confusing were it not for the constant threat of extinction keeping her priorities in order.
